agreed, love the sdc logo. as far as the name goes my idea would be either something that is a play on missouri (show-me showdown or something like that) or somehow tie into johnny morris since we’re playing on his playground. just a couple ideas. i’m not really creative so i can’t really contribute much more than that. but i am going to attend and buy the merch regardless.

Ozarks National and Buffalo Ridge were voted #1 and #2 in the state respectively in the golfweek rankings for 2020. I know rankings are not all encompassing but for those of you coming in, that should be a pretty good indicator at how special this place really is. And that doesn’t include Payne’s Valley… which I’ve heard is the best of all.

Are Champions Tour playing Buffalo Ridge all three days? Or are they also playing Ozark National? I thought both but tough to tell from the website.
Also, how many statues of will be self-commissioned of Miguel Angel Jiminez between now and October?

My dad is set to play an event at Payne’s Valley mid- end of September and they’ve been alerted that all 18 won’t be available for play.
I trust @ubjokin23 but would be a bummer if it’s not ready.
Not sure when your dad is playing, but the last day of Preview Play (holes 1-13) is Sat Sept 12. Full course opening to follow later.

Hello all! Given we are now inside 2 months to the trip, I figure its about time to get serious on the lodging. I need to get more solid numbers on the lodging breakdown to get this going, so my ask at this point is pretty simple:
1 - If your availability or ability to attend has changed you can let me know (by deleting your name in the google doc, but not the row itself, or DM/email me marz@thestartershack.com)
2 - Update your lodging preference.
3 - Highlight your row in the google doc once you’ve confirmed and/or updated (color is not important! 
)
I know some folks that I have heard from are starting to lean to the hotel option. No big deal, I just don’t want to double count anyone. Also, if you cannot attend or don’t feel as comfortable as you hoped you might when you originally signed up, its all good, no explanation required at all, we’ll catch you next time!
I’ll start chasing folks down for any updates at the end of the week, and put together the house rental plans. I’ll also start inquiring on hotel blocks too… see if we might be able to get a deal somewhere…
