@anon43372372 was just getting his money’s worth hitting (redacted) balls in the water.

I was just trying to recreate the Aaron Stewart moment.

Thanks again @ubjokin23, the resort is fantastic - can’t wait to see it again when the infrastructure is built up (and the highs break 50)!

Thanks to everyone for coming out, and braving the cold!

… until next time…

Furthering the take that the 19th hole is a golf Disney ride. We got a poster!

Was surprised to see Payne’s signature on there.

“remarkable” doing a lot of heavy lifting on that poster. As my wife said when I showed it to her, “you are not spending money to frame that.”

Great time gents, shoutout @chrismarz for putting this all together, and @ubjokin23 for hooking us up with the deals. I’m going to be cold for a week after those 3 days, but it was totally worth it.

You’re all great guis and all that sort of stuff, not going to run through the whole list but wanted to give a special shoutout to @lazyjk for swooping in from MT with nothing but a set of vintage blades and persimmons - you sir are a true madman.

Cheers!

My only regret of our trip was not being able to meet up with you all. We spent about zero time on property besides the golf, and were back at the house pretty much immediately after all the rounds. Here’s hoping you were able to find some Pro V1s with “BC” written on it.

My thanks also go to @chrismarz for letting me buy a hoodie (and for now shipping it to me)!

Expectedly,
BC

Man - what a fun weekend! Proud to rep the Mountain West while simultaneously avoiding the snow/Sub-Zero temps there this weekend.

So glad I only brought the classic clubs - I’ve never hit so many driver/3wood/wedge combos into par 4s in my life.

That persimmon 3 wood is such a joy, it might work its way into my regular bag.

Glad I got to meet so many of you and bummed that COVID meant that we couldn’t all get together for more post-round socializing. Another S/O and thank you to @chrismarz for organizing this - it was honestly one of the few bright spots I could look forward to during this dud of a year!

Speaking of Jurassic Park I saw this in Branson last night:

Ha, there were several “famous movie car” spots I noticed on the drive to courses.

They’re staging it before placing in the cave on the 19th.

They need to put lights in that cave, otherwise all of their carts will have serious scratches on the front right.

Did you see the ones at Top of the Rock? They’ve all traded paint a time or two.

Forgot this one… this ball broke in half off the driver. Played it the whole front 9 and it performed just fine. I hadnt seen a ball do that. :man_shrugging:t3:

Split ball in a mittened glove with a thermos behind it about sums up this weekend.

Well my travel luck this trip has been notgreatbob.gif

First the booking for a La Quinta that doesn’t exist anymore and then my flight from Springfield today was cancelled. Ended up getting a flight tomorrow out of KC. Did a one way rental (for an exorbitant amount) and split the cost with a random stranger who also rebooked through KC.

Made it safely to KC though and didn’t get murdered by my companion so that is a win.
