Unfortunately that won’t happen. They’ll still fire wedges at their spots. The difference will be when guys (cough, cough Rory) can’t hit their spots, the ball could spin 20 yards off the green. But you’re not going to see much of any type of ground game like I think we would like.

I’d probably argue this is true about a place as iconic as The Old Course as well. You can probably picture the double green for 7 and 11, and 17 and 18, but might struggle to describe other double greens. Also…

Neil is eerily calm now. Fatherhood has taken the edge off. At points he was so stoic I wasn’t even sure if he cared or not.

Tough scenes for Ben in that video. His golf was also bad. Neil was impressive though. Drove the daylights out of it. Pinehurst seems like one of the ultimate growers not showers. The more I watch videos of the course the more I’m interested in it. Was sort of it the camp of thinking it was overrated previously but I understand why people really enjoy it.

I know Spieth, JT, Cam Young, etc. draw a lot of attention but I enjoyed this as much as any NLU content I’ve watched. Nothing really flashy or pretentious about it - just guys playing golf on a great course. Good stuff!

Anyone else struggling with some NLU YouTube videos only playing in 1080P? Had the issue with this video and RM West Tourist Sauce but no other videos. Certainly didn’t stop me from enjoying both
