@anon26814599, I’m curious, where did your love of music, particularly jazz and opera come from?

Really though, he has some thoughts on an additional persimmon player.

A key name missing from the persimmon hitting…

Listen, @JoshBres…For years I’ve been a rollback proponent. This isn’t some newfound love affair. As a grown man of 48 years, I can tell you war stories of playing tournament golf with persimmons and topping 3 woods in front of dozens of spectators, as I did last night. For your reading pleasure, arguably the finest writing to ever grace the pages of golfwrx.

Post the video where I slam the sod and almost break a thumb!

Okay, calculating my pledge results . . . not great Bob. Just $45 for my scoring for 8 total pars. @Snellspace you got the scorecards so I can see how many doubles or worse @rka made? Any bead on calculating group birdies/eagles for these pledges?

Given these results I’m going to add some invented wolfhammer junk dots from the weekend to up the donation. Let’s call it $2 dots here folks:

Shotgun Start: number of gunshots we heard at 3 am this morning at the Casbah. About 8.

Crack On number of times I drove into another car this weekend: 1

Plumber’s Crack number of plumbing issues at The Casbah: 1

Sniper number of times I was caught by sniper fire: 1

Woodsy number of unplayable tree lies I took at Brack: thinking 3

Podsy number of golf podcasts listened to driving to/from Dallas: 5

Whiskey Tango number of whiskey bottles from @anon24718094 that came back with me (one moving on elsewhere): 4

Fallen Soldier number of lost balls at The Quarry: 11

That’s 34 dots, or an additional $68 I’ll donate with my $45 for pars. TBD on the other numbers.

UPDATE: an undisclosed sum somewhere between $64 and $66 dollars will also be donated to account for @rka’s “gross” doubles.

Haha so do you guys need the number or are you good? I’m looking at the card and can discreetly DM them to you if need be.

Thanks, but I kept a scorecard as well during the match.

We good on the doubles.

We just need to the total Brack birdie/eagle number for all teams if that’s something that can be found. I think some others pledged some $ on that number too.

When we were on the 2nd hole of the Par 3 course I told @brandlescramblee (maybe it was @DuckDuckHook?) that if I were to make an over/under on aces, it would have been 1.5. I fully expected two. We had one and someone else make a 1 for 3. I think Austin.

EPIC

Yes, this is a GD sentence.

I shouldn’t have pledged money to Magdalena House for birdies (of which I had 0) and instead pledged for balls hit into the water on the 18th hole (of which I had 2).

Are we Venmoing our donations to @BaxterMSP or do we send them to MH directly?

Total tally is 23 birdies for the Duel matches.
