Soly, Neil, and TC begin tonight's pod with a quick recap of recent travels to New Zealand and Northern Ireland before we take stock of Scottie Scheffler tying the PGA Tour's 72-hole scoring record at the Nelson.
Having the boys talk about 6 days at Tara Iti, with Cal Club being just a stop through warm up round has definitely made me regret my career decisions . Good for you boys
@MerchCzar the comparison of big letter hats to pogs was brilliant. If you’re looking for a Christmas gift for @Tron…
Welp, I’m inspired now! Just booked a flight to New Zealand because the Schusters told me “going to Tata Iti is worth it”!
Stoked for the trip, but having trouble navigating the Tata Iti website and booking a tee time. Must be some sort of country firewall issue. I’ll keep grinding, I’m sure its not a problem as the trip came highly recommended.
Makes me almost regret sending a harshly worded email to one of their board members when he informed me that Tara Iti is now fully private.
“it’s worth the trip even if you can’t play Tara Iti”
That’s applies to 99.99% of the world’s population. Really like the guys and almost all of what they do, but hearing them gush about being able to go there was a bit much. It’s probably some jealousy on my end as well, but geez, have a little perspective.
I did laugh at Tron’s list of regrets. Yeah we played Cal Club and multiple rounds at Tara Iti and hit up Te Arai, but I need to get back and play Waverley.
I can’t really begin to explain what a vastly different experience that will be.
It is with a heavy heart I have to report Prairie Dunes has fallen with a “GUNCH” hat. Sad!
They’ve had that for a few years. I noticed it probably 3-4 years ago. Not a great look Bob.
