In what’s become a favorite holiday tradition - it’s our annual Goals podcast with Soly, TC, Neil, D.J. and Randy. As is our custom, we evaluate our options and christen 2026 as the “Year of …….”, review our 2025 goals and set out our goals for the upcoming year.
“Get back to basics”
@djpie : shoutout counting crows
I hear you and I see you DJ, and I needed to stop mid run to laugh at this
Edit: for those who want to get it Recovering the Satellites - Song by Counting Crows - Apple Music
Randy new clothing or new look is hilarious. Love that goal. Maybe dropping Bonobos clothing.
Randy on roller blades, with a mustache and pushing a stroller is absolutely hilarious.
When @Randy said he wanted to start “rolling” all I could think about or see in my head was Creed Bratton and his attempt at one “flawless cartwheel”

Another fantastic goals pod, looking forward to 2026
“Now that we’ve settled on 2026 being the Year of the Gut, we’d like to take a minute to reflect on our personal journeys this last decade, the big moves, the brand growth, relationships, and becoming parents. In the midst of shooting Tourist Sauce seasons and making quick trips to CVS for new toothbrushes, something we found ourselves neglecting is our gut health, which is why we’re loving our new routine with our new sponsor, AG1. AG1 is a daily health drink that combines your multivitamin, pre AND pro-biotics, superfoods, and anti-oxidants into one simple green scoop with 5 pro-biotic strains and more than 75 vitamins and minerals. Whether it’s regularly stacking to hit those ball speed numbers, making 5 birdies in a row more often, or just the daily grind of raising toddlers, we’ve found that AG1 gives us the energy levels we need and fills in the nutrient gaps, and goes down easy with our morning coffee. If you wanna join us on the Year of the Gut, head on over to drinkAG1 dot com slash trapdraw and get a free holiday welcome gift with your first order. Now back to the show.”
Neil in 2026: “Nobody likes the big ‘did you climb the mountain or not’ goal”
Neil in 2022: “My goal is to climb Mount Rainier”
Excellent stuff
I think he meant “nobody likes a big ‘did you climb the mountain or not’ goal more than me” or at least that’s how I took it.
I’m happy that DJ talked Randy down from the plan to skateboard with his newborn baby. What could possibly go wrong?
Randy trying to explain that he needs something to roll with the kid, DJ chiming in “like a stroller” got an audible laugh out of me
The visual of Randy with long shaggy hair, a mustache, wearing a watch while rollerblading with a crockpot of soup isn’t going to leave my head anytime soon.
TC will come back with a trackable fitness goal
- Absolutely
- Absolutely Not
@Randy coming to a park near you in 2026. Instead of soup group, I’m thinking it should be a 'Blading Daddies of Denver group.
I’d have to plan a trip to Denver just to visit this park and witness this in all its glory
Which was mispronounced at least a dozen times
I joined the Nest last year and never really got involved. I’m 25, live in Auburn AL and want to find some guys to play with regularly. I’m making it a point to get more involved this year. I eat up NLU content but just never posted or paid attention to the Refuge. I’m going to start by just posting what i’ve come up with for my goals in 2026.
Just want to say the Miami jersey I own is #32. Otherwise fabulous.
Glossing right over how yoked AI thinks you are is the humble response I would have expected as well Big.
Very much on board with Queer Eye for The Big Guy
@Randy i come bearing an aesthetic change gift that can unite Slenderman like you and Shorty like me. Please join me in the bowtie clan. For years regular ties were too long for me as I imagine they may be too short for you. The bowtie aesthetic suits your bookish nature, and is a fun addition to any occasion. Best of luck.
As an unofficial brand ambassador of Bonobos - those of us who are either quite tall like the big man or the opposite like myself - we deserve custom fits.
Although we may never get over the lose of Team Rose to Peter Millar.
