I love all TrapDraw content…but holy smokes there’s too much Niners talk. All for a splash of personal interest & some more-time-spent-than-others conversation on one’s favorite team but it’s starting to eat up 30%+ of Ball “Knowers” episodes. Tough scene!
I wanted to listen….but bounced 5 minutes in. The 2024 6-11 niners slurping was egregious. I ask @Randy to impose fines and withhold draft picks on @Tron and @Pooshdaddy. Truly shameful for a once proud podcast.

I’ll give you guys credit for something though: listening to Simmons and Peter Schrager and Simmons asked “what team would make a holy shit move to get Sedeur?” and I, who doesn’t really know ball, said out loud to no one, “the Niners.” And Schrager proceeded to say the same. It’s like the aura of the Ballknowers is permeating reality.
There is a 0% chance of that happening but Schrager doing a solid for John Lynch in negotiations with Brock
Lol, I have watched Peter Shrager every morning for 8 years. He takes his role as an insider so seriously and the only blind spot that might be there is his relationship with Sean McVay.
He like sleeps in his guest room when he goes to LA for TV and they had a podcast together for a long time. I doubt he’s carrying water/ playing 3D chess for the 49ers.

Lynch and Schrager are friends and were partners on air. Listen, I don’t know for sure that he’s holding water but there is a 0% chance the 49ers draft Shedeur Sanders.
Great listen. Tice is the best. He can get into the weeds (I mean that in the best way) on his podcast, but it was fun to hear him talk generally about his process, what he looks for, and his own experience.
No dog in the fight. But it’d be objectively hilarious if it happens. It’s draft night, anything is possible.

Me listening to 2 hours of Niner talk like I had the radio tuned to KNBR
Pre- and post-draft content stinks. Nobody knows anything about these players. Kyle Pitts was going to be the next Vernon Davis, etc. It’s just showing off how many names were memorized and hours of film were watched.
I could kind of see the Steelers at 21 being like- okay, Aaron Rodgers is a bad idea but we really only have 1-2 years left of Minka, Heyward and Watt and don’t want to torch that on someone that might end up being Kenny Pickett 2.0. Let’s get Purdy.
Idk, maybe that’s dumb but Tomlin refuses to finish below .500 so they’re always going to be picking in the high teens/early 20s so they’re always going to be just searching for band aids at QB unless they decide to ship a bunch of draft picks to move up.
I just don’t think Shedur falls that far but there’s gotta be some smoke that he might have a Will Levis type drop tonight.
