Good afternoon, friends. I am trying desperately to not bail on this, but I’m going to be 2 and a half hours the other direction away on Friday, making my 3 hour drive a 5 and a half hour drive.
I definitely won’t make it Friday at any reasonable time, but should be there Friday night. I see an executive 9 early and 18 after on Saturday. Is anyone playing that evening and have a spot for an idiot like me? How about Sunday am? I’d love to get a little more golf in if I can mentally convince myself to make this excursion work.

Just sharing that I’m likely getting a hotel in this region.
Looks like decent value under $120 a night in a burb. Could save money going closer to MOA or downtown, but meh.
Staying Thursday night through Sunday.

We’ll still do something with the team format for fun, but I’ve been worn down by all the low cappers crying that net formats are unfair to them (shoutout @charvey)
To that end, the NIT spots will be awarded to the two person team with the lowest combined gross score. Closer to the event the teams will be randomly paired up to ensure their combined handicap is near the team average (i.e. 1 and 15 handicap are on a team, so is an 8 and 8).
By the way, you’ll have no idea who your teammate is until everyone has played. Teams will be in a sealed envelope and announced over beverages at the bocce court
