As a dad who has two kids 17 and older, go to every event you can. Amazing how quickly time goes.

I talk to my dad all the time and for sure after every round of golf. Even got to spend the last two weekends with him and played four times.
Not trying to get yāall to feel bad about your parenting. We just donāt do ceremonies in my family

This might also skew my viewpoint. My Dad died when I was 28 and my Mom when I was 41. Donāt take for granted that youāll be at the next event.

I donāt talk to my dad but 5 times a year, and thatās between me and him but letās just say Iāll just Iāll be there for my kids.

Not to denigrate the skill or time commitment it takes to be a professional tour caddie but it aināt like Ted is caddying for Vijay Singh and getting two weeks off a year. Scottie played less than 30 weeks last year.
