Wanted to formally unveil the Southern Texas Roost of Hospitality (STROHs) here. Lots of work behind the scenes getting Houston, San Antonio, and Austin aligned to #getinvolved. Each of those metros areas has a bustling amateur golf scene, and quite a bit of representation here, but when considering the size of Texas, the size of the DFW metroplex, and the other Roosts already committed, it was clear we needed to band together to make sure those Dallas buttheads didn’t win anything. So for Roost purposes, we’re the hospitable ones, and we’ll take anyone south of dallas, from El Paso to the Golden Triangle.

Amongst our existing members, we’ve undoubtedly caused a rush on vintage Stroh’s beer merchandise that has made some collectors shake their heads and wonder “what in the literal fuck is happening in Texas?”
