Viktor when he sees this
For reference: 6 is on the right and 7 is the hole on the left.
Definitely a valid option for the players to take the creek out of play on the tee shot. All hole location dependent as well but PGA doesnât want the pace/safety concerns most likely.
This is what happens when tree removal goes too far /s
10 out 10 times would rather see a Lon Hinkle tree vs in course O.B.
The modern version is one of those giant electronic scoreboards or a hospitality tent
I have no problems with this but technically your photo is pre-reno, this is the new look. Same idea though
Thatâs on me for using Apple Maps and expecting updated overheads
Golf has a rightfully high tolerance for dorkiness but Todd Lewis and George Savaricas earnestly breaking down JTâs aimpoint use is a bridge too far. Time for me to log off of Golf Channel for a few months.
The five courses to host all four, brought up in the podcast and I apologize if they eventually answered.
Oak Hill
Oakland Hills

Scioto
You know the PGA has arrived in Rochester when I stop in SBUX and see a dude with a Crushers hoodie on.
Loving the information from early in the podcast about the width of the grass blade. Sounds a lot like the standard grass we get around here on our Muniâs where when itâs extremely healthy and lush early in the spring the ball just does not go anywhere.
Going to Whole Foods over Pittsford Wegmans down the street isâŚa choice
Feels very much a âgo with what you knowâ situation.
Agree that was probably too much. But I also grew up with Savo and ran in similar friend circles. Guarantee you heâs thinking about how much of a bs segment that is.
Who is going to win? Cam Young
Who is not going to win? Xander / Cantlay
Does a PGA Professional make the cut? No
Does Phil make the cut? Yes
Low past PGA champion? Brooks
Low LIV player: DJ / Brooks
Hereâs my hot take: I donât think Xander exists. He was created or formed by the PGA tour in order to be a very good golfer, slightly above average at everything. Wonât win majors, barely won the tour championship. I donât think he exists
They pushed it further with Morikawa but went just a hair too far in the golf skills areas.
Only in professional golfâs traveling circus is another fairway Out of Bounds, but blasting into grandstands full of fans is free relief.
I canât believe no one has picked Morikawa. Incredibly accurate and long enough off the tee, and a generational iron player. I think it is going to be so difficult greenside that his chipping yips wonât even be much of a factor, either. This could be a real âit all becomes so apparent after the factâ win for Collin.
Iâm gonna play Scioto for the first time this summer- If they had the infrastructure, no question you could hold any major championship on the grounds.
