Reading and hitting a mudball is a skill. You canât just launch it 120 ft in the air and expect it to react the same way a clean ball will. You have to play a something more off your back foot where youâre aware of how the ball is likely to spin based on where the mud is. If youâre Brooks and you have a mud ball 270 out, thatâs a tough break but maybe it means you canât hit 3 wood at the green. You hit an iron that knocks some of the mud off, then hit a wedge close.
These are all skills golfers used to have and these pampered fucks donât. Theyâd rather just whine.
