Can’t decide if I’m hoping there’s a picture of my cold shank or not. It’s possible that could make for a sick office piece lol. Was a ton of fun out there. Big shout out @sundaybag for going back out there and caddying. Wasn’t the performance we hoped for but can’t wait to go chase the high next year

What a fantastic weekend. The camaraderie with all you golf sickos has me kicking myself for not getting involved with nlu sooner. Many thanks to @Privatecollection for the plethora of hats and a well ran event.
First I want to shout to @Manhattan @andrewf @kirkeide1 for the vibes in our airbnb. If only the rest of the field was able to listen to the Conan the Barbarian soundtrack on the ssd card in the rental car.
Second, I want to thank @kirkeide1 again for trusting me to be on the bag for the championship round. Caddying the front nine barefoot was probably a mistake but it hopefully looked cool on Instagram. Hate that we fell short…. It surely had nothing to do with my motivational pep talks on the course:
“Someone’s going to start making putts, and it’s not going to be you if you keep leaving every putt short”
Lastly, I want to thank @leftysauce for setting aside our 2CGC and HCC differences during our third round. I throughly enjoyed our knowledge share of our sandbagging practices. I appreciate your advice on behalf of ALL of HCC about the benefits of not posting your low scores / only playing 9 hole rounds.

The highlight of the NIT for me was caddying for you during the final round, was a blast to have a front row seat for the show!
Shoutout to everyone (especially @Privatecollection) for making it such a memorable weekend. I met so many great folks, will be doing my best to qualify again next year!

The only way to travel, without a stiff arm or soft case. Flip everything upside down and tie them together with a towel. Nearly impossible to break 13 clubs tied together.

But on a more serious note. Thank you to everyone here. It’s been a tough stretch for me personally the past month or so between the stress of hurricanes devastating my local area and an old friend committing suicide. To be candid, I’ve been in a bit of a dark, existentially exhausted mental state, and this fed the depths of my soul. I’m starting my Monday with a bucket full and it’s largely in part to you all and the vibes you brought. When you’re hurting, surrounding yourself with people you love can eradicate it in a way you didn’t expect.
I had remarkable playing partners all week Steph jsg_nado Randy jgolf1 ForWhomThePuttRolls durrtydurr andrewf bobbyt990 FrostyWalrus. I got to see some folks from Roosts I know well like searanch albertik89 rev LukeBoatright and tigergolftraveler. And so many of you felt like people I’ve known my entire life despite being new friends.
And especially want to shout out the the folks who make the magic happen: @Privatecollection @Cody @Randy @sundaybag @KVV @GremlinGolfer @MerchCzar @Tron @ChickPhilA.
This community is something special, and I hope nobody takes it for granted because it’s rare to find things like this. If you don’t already, try volunteering time to your local roost! I’m sure your captains will appreciate it and your Roosts will grow as a result of the investment.
I can’t wait to see many of you again, whether at next year’s NIT (should I qualify) or at one of the events I’ll be hosting for RACDG Norcal and Palmetto Golf Society. Much love to you all.
