I also forgot to mention that it was awesome to see @GooseTrego at the NIT, even though he did not play his best.

Much love to you, Jake.

I am once again coming before you all to remind you that In n Out isn’t actually that good.

It’s fine. The floor is probably high in the fast food realm, but needing to know that many tricks to make it stand out just ain’t it.

Yes, I had it for breakfast today. Yes, it was probably aggressive after everything I put in my body yesterday. Yes, this IS going to be a long short flight home.

What a weekend down in AZ! As someone who joined the nest/roost lifestyle just 15 months ago, posting four straight scores in the 80s for the first time in my life and making the finals of the NIT was a hell of a way to cap off my first full year of #gettinginvolved

Everything I’ve done from casual rounds with fellow NSU members to the big events like this weekend have proven what a great community this is full of great people. Can’t wait to keep doing more of it and getting to know more of you fellow sickos going forward.

Special shoutouts to:
Of course the one and only @Privatecollection for somehow managing to run smooth events like these with all of us hooligans. That might be an even more impressive magic trick than what Lucas was pulling off all weekend

All of my playing partners for keeping up elite vibes on the course all weekend

@reinben for golfing his damn ball in the finals and giving me something fun to watch while running out of energy and playing myself out of contention after a couple days in the AZ heat/sun

@kirkeide1 for joining me in the finals giving us 2 Minnesotans out of the final 8

THE @FrostyWalrus for caddying for me a week before we become head to head opponents in our last roost event of the year

@andrewf @Manhattan @rjsau98 (and the previously mentioned kirkeide) for giving me couch to rest on and a shower to use between leaving the course last night and getting to the airport for my red-eye home at 1am

And last but not least a HUGE thank you to Delta for busting my driver shaft on my flight home instead of on the way to the event making it a much less stressful timeline to get replaced

Had that for lunch today as well.

Definitely inferior to Shake Shack. Definitely superior to Whatabuger. Probably slightly better than the burger I had at Waffle House.

Think it’s slightly inferior to A&W back in Canada.

Food talk again already? The event ended less than 24 hours ago.

I’m just trying to play the hits - much like the Pittsburgh / midwest jokes all weekend. Pandering, sure, but I do it with a funny accent at least?

Had a great weekend with everyone as a relative newcomer. I’m definitely more of an introvert so to come into a giant social situation and feel almost immediately at ease was such a relief.

shout outs to @jsg_nado @HoselRocketeer @JoeMaurerpower @Manhattan @durrtydurr @hwb for the vibes along the way. Big thanks to @LPondgolf for throwing devil horns and talking Metallica for a moment on Thursday.

Also, want to send my gratitude to the yeti & Dobson cart crews for being on top of the Modelo™ timing the entire weekend and @privatecollection for running a great event. Looking forward to trying to play my way back in next year.

Seeing these in the coolers nearly brought me to tears. Vibe and half.

Couple drinking notes:

  1. Whoever kept drinking the pineapple nooners. Chill tf out. Couldn’t bag one all weekend.

  2. Tequila Lime nooners were dangerously good.

  3. Cooooooors Light
