2024 Nest Invitational Tournament | October 24-26, 2024 | Leaderboard @ Post 1133

I just peaked at the wrong time (literally the day before the Summer Festival). C’est la vie. Tis better to have played well on the wrong day than never to have played well at all, I believe is how the famous quote goes.

I regret to inform you that I stayed in the security line long enough I believe I’ll have to now pay Mecklenburg Co. resident taxes.

Sitting at my gate about to board thankfully -as the great Skip Prosser once said “if you can’t be on time, be early.”

Sorry if this is a dumb question, haven’t been to any events before. Is NIT open to attend?

I live around PHX, would love to check it out… :eyes:

Anyone trying to get lunch around noon time or a little after? Getting my rental now and I am starving

Hate that this group showed up late and delayed everyone behind them. 11:00am group just going off now, hopefully not a sign of things to come this weekend!

It is not, I’m sorry! But if people are getting together afterwards or something you’re welcome to go to that.

Clubs arrived in one piece & wearing an NLU hat at PHX airport got me a free ride (and way better conversation than an Uber) to the Dobson area from a fellow Refuge member.

This group rules. Shout out Dry Heat GC (don’t have a personal Refuge handle for the kind soul or I’d tag) for the hospitality!

Ahhhh, the NIT. I remember it well. 2020 was a bop. 2021…needed a mop. And that’s all I have to say about that.

Its been too long fam.

I miss your musk.

Probably should have gone to Raising Canes before we went to the weed store. Timing is everything.

Really leaning into the “High” part of High Cotton Club. Love to see it

Quick bump: 5 spots still open for whoever wants to come back in March for Dry Heat’s major, The Tumbleweed Two Ball.

Pit stop in Yuma. Great “now entering” sign tbh. Gotta be high up the power rankings.

I don’t know if they still have one in Yuma (they do on I-10 near El Centro) but back in the salad days when Greg Byrne was the AD at Arizona, he decided he wanted to own the state. One of the things he did was make sure any major freeway or other major highway you drove into Arizona on, the first billboard you saw was an Arizona Athletics ad, usually sayin this is “Wildcat Country” or something similar. Subtle, probably relatively cheap in the grand scheme of college athletics. I liked it.

I didn’t see that but they did have Tuscon listed on the “distance to” road sign before Phoenix

Yuck!
