Glad that Spieth was mentioned in the Scottie little B conversation because that is the reason I have disliked Spieth. When things started to not go his way, he just complained more and more.

Rahm not paying the DP world tour fine is bananas.

Hey my first post here so maybe this is not the place or the way so give me some grace. But are we going to brush over the men’s hockey team win? As our Ryder cup team gets demolished at home and we chuck cultural differences to Europe’s strength as a team, American teams in the Olympics prove that we can have strong teams. It’s a fact. Multiple disciplines where our teams have less skill, they make up for it in teamwork. Do we need a real coach and guys that want to win it as bad as they do even if they aren’t our “best”?

I think this take about Americans not being good at team sports came from Jamie Weir. I’m not sure it was cosigned by the others on the pod.

It was and still is a ridiculously bad take by Jamie.

After all the Rahm talk I was curious… don’t watch much LIV so I thought to myself: “Maybe he just stinks now and isn’t all that great at golf any more.” Nope. Two second place finishes so far this year, and he only finished outside of the Top 10 once in 2025 on LIV (pretty sure he finished like 11th). Huge blow to Europe if they can’t wrangle him into the Ryder Cup. Bonkers and makes no sense.

I don’t put any stock in liv placing at all. They barely have 10 ten notables. He should finish in the top ten of every event and be winning often.

He’s definitely still got it, and his major record shows. I want him for Europe too. I really question where his head is at though. He took the giant money pot, when he was going to make obscene amounts of money on the pga tour already. So it was money over legacy.
