Our personal golf series continues with Casey as she shares her perspective on getting better, playing competitive rounds without holding a single-digit handicap index, how getting fit led to some surprising choices in her setup and her top ten favorite courses.
Let’s go! Pumped for this one
Every one I talked to that tee’d it up with Casey at the RCC said the same thing, “Casey is awesome!”
Pretty sure at one point I was on 4 and I heard her laugh from 7’s fairway
Let’s go!!! Will be a great accompaniment to my lunch break!
Just need to teach her that now that she’s in the desert, an import/export business means something else. ![]()
Still no idea what it means in the desert… I was discussing the operations of a business that imports goods from overseas after production and also ships a significant amount of items to the UK/Canada/Australia from our domestic warehouses. Dance costumes.
It’s always drugs (I assume) ![]()
I know what you meant, but it made me laugh because, like @tigergolftraveler said, on the southern border it’s slang for drugs.
Still listening to the interview, but loving it. Your balance between giving af and having a blast is aspirational.
@ChickPhilA almost 20 mins in and I can confirm you still rule. One of the best people I’ve met on this blog and always a joy to play with. A true golf success story.
HA - I guess I don’t really feel like I’m on the border - a good 6 hours away by car LOL.

Jeffersonville at #2 on the Top 10
Would love to get a Muni spotlight video similar to the George Wright video. Maybe Casey can show Neil around her old stomping grounds, and introduce Neil to the Philly area that is suddenly slightly more accessible.
Great podcast! Before I even finished I told my sister she needed to listen to it. Loved the perspective on playing golf, I’m definitely trying to be happier on the course. Great listen and was awesome to get to meet you.
Was here for the @ChickPhilA golf story and got stories of y100 lore that I didn’t know I needed. That station and Preston and Steve were such a big part of my life. I knew plenty of P&S nick name stories (like Pancake) but Casey Boy makes so much more sense now.
What a great pod. My personal golf goal for this year is to have 50% of the positivity of @ChickPhilA I would love to tee it up with you but unfortunately I’m 2500 kms from Las Vegas. But if your ever travelling the yellowhead highway on a cross Canada roadtrip hit me up Ill host you at my quaint little 9 holer in Wynyard SK.
Thank you for the kind words!!!
