I could be wrong but I find dropping this the week of the KVV news very weak. I still love the product but the timing of this “filler pod” was a miss.

Not sure why I’m compelled to post this, but for the record, this was very enjoyable content. It is amazing how quickly we forget what happened at the four most important tournaments of the year. Would encourage them to do this each year after the last major.

Agreed. And, for a group of 5 who have made a career out of snark and criticizing broadcasters, players, courses, architects, etc, it is also pretty weak for them to block anyone who posts a mildly critical comment on their IG post. They’re great at giving shit but can’t take it. I’m sure this will get deleted as well.

Using that Gary Player quote that was born of a question asked by the guy you just let go was indeed a tough scene. I held off on listening bc I was so bummed about the KVV news and didn’t feel like listening to NLU. But I’m glad I listened. It was overall enjoyable.
I’m having a hard time figuring out where I stand on NLU now. I don’t really share this somewhat common opinion that the shows haven’t been as good in recent months. They range from fine to pretty good most weeks. I’m going to continue to listen, but at the same time I’m frustrated bc the best pods have been the deep dives or “specialty” shows like the scavenger hunt and not having KVV for those is a net negative.
