@djpie please tell me the Andy you got drinks with after RCD was Andy the one-handed caddie. Had him a few years ago and he was an absolute pro. Would have love to grab a beer with him in the city after the round!

This was a joy to listen to. Personally, I love when NLU content becomes travel content with a side of golf, and this felt exactly like that. I am sure that feedback is somewhat polarizing though and there are people who would prefer pure Golf all the time. For me, this was the perfect balance.

The burger discussion when Randy said he could get the same burger at Shake Shack and Soly tells him he ruined his f***ing day is genius

I’ve struggled with this since they released the Argentina series. Clearly every single organization has to move on and evolve, but I personally was listening casually to the pod, and then discovered Tourist Sauce and was hooked. It sounded from this specific episode, and Neil mentioned it on the mid-year goals pod too, but the mini-series is where they are heading more than Tourist Sauce. For me personally, that’s a huge bummer. That is not to say these new mini-series things aren’t cool and incredibly well produced, I just love seeing the whole gang together in a long form type format, and totally get the logistics etc., are hard. They just don’t grab me as much.

I agree a little bit, definitely prefer the ‘season’ format of T Sauce more but then I remember these guys are producing this amazing content at no cost to their audience, so whatever they think works will work for me. Folks are on this board because of the NLU crew and I think the vast majority would agree they produce the best golf content around so I’ll continue watching/supporting regardless of the format.

And to be totally clear, that was not meant as a criticism. Just a preference on the format more than anything. Ideally, just want to see them altogether more often.

That was a top 5 NLU video. Fantastic.

The birds crossing in front of the drone is like the coolest clip in nlu video history.

Id say it’s one of the best videos they’ve put out in a bit. I sat and watched it with my 8 year old son and he was into it. Made me want to go to Northern Ireland.

Tourist Sauce isn’t dead by any means. Certainly understand the desire to have the whole gang together and will continue to try to do that for at least one project a year.

Hope is that at the end of the year when the travel episodes are looked back upon (and nicely packaged in 6-8 highly produced videos from across the world - “2025 NLU Travel”) that Tourist Sauce feeling will be there for someone new to latch onto like you did.

Need more Paddy in content. Dude is a vibe.

Found myself thinking “Paddy could be NLUs answer to PJ Clarke,” and I mean that as a high compliment to all of PJ, Paddy, SGS and NLU.

“Aw that was such a good shot in there, man.”

“Thanks”

“Did you make birdie?” (Said while holding the flag watching him tap in for par)

sigh

Top tier bit / trash talk from DJ

Can confirm they’re still talking about @Soly playing 4 from the back tees in Newcastle.

Old people needing to sit down on the main street overcome with emotion, school children being asked to write essays about it, things of that nature.
