I don’t know Jamie our Olympic team seems to do pretty good.
All the practicing we do at the capitol really pays off.

Excuse you, our men’s 4x100 relay teams always drop the baton at the Olympics. It’s actually a great example of the US having amazing individual athletes that win medals by themselves but can’t compete as a team.
The Keegan stuff about him not being close with players on tour, by his own admission, is sort of a chicken/egg situation to me.
To me the scenario is more: You isolate yourself on a tour until you make a team event.
He became friendly with the guys on the RC teams he was on right?
I’d believe the same would have happened had he played better and made an earlier team. It’s like an all star team or rival kids all playing for the same high school team.
It also speaks to the cliques on tour. He’s not from a college golf contender or a golf-talent rich region that lends itself to those natural relationships. He’s found community in golf with his club in Florida more than guys in tour.
I know he said these things on FS but I guess
I view that as being self aware yes but also a bit unfair to himself… or at least lacking the context of some of how these other “cliques” or the boys club have formed.
