Was looking for a potential ride from MSP to FAR because flights are significantly cheaper. But it’s too far out to worry about at this point.
Haven’t looked at lodging, assumed I’d use the boatload of Hilton points we have but would be open to other options once I know I’m 100% locked in.
I hadn’t thought about flying in to MSP. Could get there real cheap on Southwest. Now I’m thinking more seriously about trying to come up.
Once you get out of Minneapolis, it’s 4 turns to the golf course. Get hyped. Hahahaha.

However, in a quick search it’s $300 to rent a car Thursday-Monday.

I’m not 100% committed for this trip yet but if I end up getting the green light I would be driving from Rochester which brings me right by MSP. Depending on timing I could potentially bring some guis with me!

Sounds about right, yeah. And there are literally 4 turns that I could think of once you get out of the city. I was not exaggerating, but I may be miscalculating. Hahahaha.
Probably a 15 minute drive from the Fargo airport though! 5 turns from there.

Definitely playing Sunday am. Not sure who is all doing that, but we’ll have a block of tee times Sunday for sure.
Might be a very stupid question, but what’s the Uber/Lyft situation up there? Realizing I don’t want to rent a car just to have it parked in a hotel parking lot or golf course parking lot the entire time.
I can’t speak to any experience with it in town, but I know we have it because a few of my friends drive for them. I have no idea how common drivers are and during what times.
Can I interest you in a horse and buggy? Maybe we could do some butter churning classes before the rounds Saturday.
College town so there will definitely be drivers on Fri/Sat night. You’ll probably also be good during the day but hard to say for sure.
Also a cab service, too, which definitely runs during the day.
Depending on your schedule we could split the cost of a rental car if it came to that. I’m (tentatively) looking at Thursday through Sunday afternoon/evening.
