Indeed it is. Indeed it is.
Oh yes. I definitely learned to do that! And I got pretty decent at it. But that wasnât until mid round on day 2. Unfortunately I also like to miss in areas that make putting impossible. The Pinehurst courses do a great job of exposing my weaknesses that Iâve learned to hide on my normal courses.
One of the things I love about NLU is that you can pay your $90/year, but if you come in here and talk shit, and one of the dads doesnât like your chat, theyâll straight up tell you youâre an idiot. Genuinely love to see it.
What I feel is worse is the crowning you get around the cup due to them not rotating them. Basically the resort keeps them in the same spots for 3-5 days for regular resort play. I get it, no one is playing No. 2 multiple times in a trip let alone multiple days in a row. But the mushroom effect tied with cup liner blows
Happy to report I birdied it this Saturday during the Donnybrook. Like all things in life, it will take time to heal. Just happy I took my first step
Was having a pretty bummer day today and this news just lifted my spirits. Congrats on conquering the demons on 3
Very much this.
Glad youâre on the path. Some of us would start with a par, but hot damn thatâs a way to exorcise some demons.
@BrooklynAJ knows about birdies on this course. Only played with him once, saw many (including 2 deuces!)
Ah yes, the olâ 5 birdie, 5 double, 2 triple 85.
Good, clean fun.
Bad math
There were two bogeys as well, but didnât seem worth mentioning.
Still no further elaboration on the @Tron lefty sitch?
Recorded in April prior to his year of lefty being done. Intentionally delayed releasing the video to line up with Donnybrook week. Outside of a few occasions, he has been playing the majority of this games righty.
Now to your question-
Ya never know. We could look back and try to change a lot of things about it, or life. Just happy to be part of the team man. And even if I got beat, which I never would of, I am happy and content with where I am at. Rightly or Lefty TC will not change that
I was in Pinehurst the week after you guys (some say you fled the place knowing I was arriving) and I did not notice the greens having a ton of sand on them or issues with the cups - but Iâm also a much, much, MUCH worse player than any of you and it may not have mattered as much for my game. (That said, Randyâs drive was horrifying. The stuff of nightmares.)
Cool. We will take your word for it
?
Not sure what you mean - I am not doubting you guys saw that nor suggesting you were lying or anything. Just that it impacted your guys game because youâre better than I am. Just getting on those damn greens was hard enough, and my problem with making putts was the greens themselves, not the cups or any sand. Sorry if that wasnât clear, also not sure it deserved the snark, but you do you my guy
Hell yes, Iâve got to find some of this on-course confidence. Love it!
We have, a developing situation.
Letâs talk about @sundaybag 's Teton Gravity Research hat. TGR has one of the most active (and degenerate) forums of all time, where I have wasted 100000x the time I have wasted here. Are you a skier, Ben?
