- Definitely want to run the 10+ strain challenge starting Feb. 1, but I’m struggling with some logistics, so I wanted to crowd source a couple things…
First, I envision 10 strain challenge being as simple as possible:
- Get 10+ strain everyday in the month of February. No off-days, no mulligans for dead batteries or any other reason.
- Everyone that gets over 10+ strain will be entered to win a few prizes from NLU, Whoop, and some other sponsors.
Pain points:
- I’m not the Refuge Group admin. I’m trying to get access via Whoop, but they haven’t responded yet.
- Even if I’m the admin, I worry about how to track this. When I’ve done this with my buddies, we tracked it manually because there are only 16 of us. I’m concerned about tracking 1200+ people and ensuring they hit 10+ strain.
Any ideas from this crew on how to run this 10+ strain challenge? We’re gonna do it, but I may not have thought through the logistics!

That is tough. Wait until the end of the month and have people submit proof of the whole month being 10+ strain from the calendar that already denotes 10+ days? That that would weed out many of the 1,200 with missed days, battery issues, those not interested? Of course then who handles the influx of screenshots lol

Im assuming there is a way to get AI to sort thru the data for you. I’m a teacher and have been using AI this year to save time on things like this

Little late notice here but I don’t think it would be unreasonable for this to become a Nest “perk” if you’re getting prizes involved. Would likely trim the numbers a bit and end up with more current active listeners vs people who might have joined the group years ago and end up hitting 10 strain daily.
Not that you want to fracture the group but would give you the ability to start fresh and be the admin.

I would agree with this but the problem is they’ve already advertised it on the pod and on the trap draw so it would be kinda scummy to go back on their word and say oh no sorry this is just for nest members

For sure. I haven’t listened to a Sunday pod in a while so not sure what’s been said there but I don’t recall hearing them discuss prizes? Could be wrong but maybe it’s just a “hey everybody can participate but only nest members are eligible for prizes.”

To be honest I don’t remember herring anything about prizes either so it could play that you have two separate groups. One group of nest members that have to be verified 10+ strain for the month who are eligible for prizes and another group which is non nest members who aren’t eligible for prizes thus honor system being sufficient

I think honor system for anyone interested in prizes and maybe a separate whoop group? I mean it’s an easy enough to verify everyone’s monthly average strain is over 10. Or require users to submit a screenshot every Sunday (if we’re getting free prizes that’s pretty acceptable IMO).
Probably honor the timeless TC here …
