Whelp, the HSA stuff put me over the edge, and I ended up having a whoop delivered this afternoon. Just getting it setup now but Iām excited.
Going to really be pushing myself as much as I can between now and mid-January.
Keep in mind it takes a few weeks to successfully baseline yourself.

Yep you may see some bizarre recovery scores at first until it understands what ānormalā for you is.

Very much self-inflicted. I stayed up very late arguing with my brother in law while we shared a fine bottle of bourbon.
Apple Health also sends data to Whoop. For example, I use the Calm app. Calm is linked to Apple Health, and Apple Health is linked to Whoop. I no longer have to manually input mediation. It pushes from Calm to Apple Health to Whoop. Thatās dope!
I am not a Whoop user but I am currently listening to a podcast with the Vice President of Performance Science at Whoop, Kristen Holmes, and there is so much good stuff the conversation. Iām only about halfway through but wanted to share here before I forgot. The podcast title is a bit of a shock and scare tactic which I donāt love but itās a conversation worth listening to.

How are we doing?! Iām 16/17 so far. Had a 9.4 on a day I just didnāt have any gas left in the tank. Guess itāll have to be 99/100
I didnāt commit to the January thing but Iām 10/11 starting on the 6th. I leave for Mexico on 2/17 so I made a personal goal (on 1/6) to hit 10 every day leading up to that trip. I think 10 is a good goal because itās not that hard to hit even if you mostly sit around for work, just need to put in that extra effort at some point through the day.
