Whoop Band | NLU Group Code: COMM-NLUNLU

I got mine on for the first time yesterday & I’m a fan of the improved band and smaller size device. Interested to see the new metrics and the feedback that comes with them.

Excited for this as well. I have small a** wrists.

Got extended to 8-10 weeks… this thursday will mark 7. So looks like it’ll be Thanksgiving before I see mine shipped

Same, which is good timing - my 3.0 keeps losing connection and falling behind.

Ordered mine in early September and it says 7-9 weeks still for shipping

It updated shipping and showed up a week later. They gave me a month credit for the trouble. All forgiven.

So far it seems way nicer. The band is way better. Feels better being smaller. And IMO seems a lot more accurate with workouts. But time will tell. The extra metrics are super cool

Can’t wait to get mine in 4-6 months

Yeah I ordered mine as it hit the site. Mine went from 4-6 to 7-12 to 3-4 to 1-2 to shipped.

Doing my first boxing class tonight with it so I’ll post some data, and waiting for 7 days (baseline) for the body temp.

Glad to see some folks starting to get their 4.0s! I’m currently stuck in some sort of 4.0 purgatory. Spoke with customer service person last week who told me that the tracker was broken and my unit would ship this week, which was the 7 week mark of the initial time frame. Cut to 22 hours later when we get the email blast, which then updates the tracker to 4-6 weeks from the 5-7 weeks it’s been since I ordered on launch day. I’ve been trying to talk with customer service since that email went out and I’ve gotten exactly nowhere. I don’t think I’d be as upset if they hadn’t immediately taken my money when my order was placed instead of when it ships, but it is what it is I guess. I’m now just wondering if it makes sense to cancel my order and re-up when the 4.0 is more widely available. To that end, does anyone know how the 6 month extension works? Am I currently using up my 6 months without a 4.0 to show for it?

No your 6 months will run when you get the 4.0. Same thing for anyone with a 3.0 who extended and is waiting.

Anyone with the 4.0, can you use the 3.0 bands if you thread them through the piece that slides on and off? Or are they not the same size?

I haven’t tried. But I saw someone (Twitter or Reddit) said they got it working but wouldn’t work if you take the strap off a lot.

So yes it can be ghetto rigged.

But the new strap is more comfy than other 3.0 strap I own

Okay. Yeah I just have a bunch of colors of the 3.0 and honestly have delayed upgrading because I don’t feel like spending a bunch of money on new straps.

Yep I’ve seen it can be done. But haven’t messed with it yet.

Other colors would be the only reason to get a different strap, super comfy new style strap.

I want to try the “any wear” clothes. Few activities I do. I wrap my wrists so that freedom is something I may investigate

Mine went from 6-8 weeks to 10-12 weeks :pensive::pensive:

Good to know. I literally had just got a new strap 2-3 weeks before the 4.0 was announced. Might try to do some research to see how to make this work.

I will say I did have a rough unboxing experience. Mine arrived Tuesday and I was out of town til Friday.

Unboxed it and it was dead (no shock there) and battery pack was dead. After messing around I left the 4.0 on the charger plugged into the wall while I showered and unpacked a bit.

Was charged only to 30%. Put the new firmware on it and let it charge more. Got it up to 40. Wore it overnight and let the charger charge. Slid it on and worked as normal.

I think a lot of people don’t understand wireless charging is slow. I’ve seen a ton of complaints about DOA/etc. I just don’t think there giving it enough time to charge up

Since then I haven’t had any issues. But I think going from 0% on the band and the charger is taking some serious time. A few times the battery pack took a few minutes for the red light to go on. No shocker really. Most electronics don’t like a 100% battery drain
