FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
I am pleased to announce the 2020/21 Chicagoland Match Play Tournament as part of the “King in the North” series. Brave golfers from the area (and maybe other parts of Illinois/Quad Cities/who the f knows) will compete in a (net) match play bracket, the winner of which will be our champion next year against the winners from Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan.
I think we are going to have significant interest here, so hopefully we can gather enough responses in the next 2 weeks to start kicking off some matches in late summer/early fall. Depending on entrants I will try to split the bracket up by sub-regions (city, north, west, south) so it is easier for folks to knock-out rounds together.
