I’ve currently got a bit of a mishmash of Taylor Made and Cleveland.

New Years resolution to not buy any new clubs in 2019. Learn how to hit the ones I have and save up a bit till I can afford a whole new set.

Treated myself to a new putter for Christmas - Ping Vault 2.0 Anser Copper finish.

i.e. new matching driver / 3 wood / hybrid
new irons 4 to PW
new wedges 50 / 55 / 60.

Not going to necessarily play all the same manufacturer through the whole bag. But will go and get fitted for each element and make sure they are demonstrably better than what I have and that I like the look of them.

It occurred to me the other day that everything I use is a different brand. Not deliberate. I’m like Brooks or Francesco without the ability!

Driver: Srixon Z785
4-wood: Tour Edge xcg7b
Hybrid: Bridgestone J36
Irons: 3i Mizuno MP-H4, 4i-PW Mizuno MP-52
Wedges: Cleveland RTX 52 & 56
Putter: TM Rossa Daytona
Ball: Callaway Chrome Soft
Bag: Titleist 4up StaDry

TM R7 9.5* (longest relationship of my life)
TM R11 15.5* 3W
TM M2 3H 19*
Callaway X18 4-PW
Callaway MD4 52*,58*
TM TP Soto

Been thinking about upgrading the irons and I have an M2 sitting in my closet, but every time I try something new, it just feels off and I scrap it after a few rounds. Averse to change, I guess.

I would love to know if there has been any sort of noticeable jump in Callaway sales post-NLU partnership. I was in for a new set of irons this summer and went with X-forged largely because of NLU, also got an O-works Red 1w putter. Anyone else bought Callaway because of NLU?

P.s. and by “noticeable jump” I don’t assume that the NLU community is having a large affect on a company the size of Callaway, just if there was any growth that could be attributable to the partnership.

I just got back into the game in March of 2018, and moved on from my old Ben Hogans. I rock a mixed bag.

I love the Rouges, for not playing for about 8 years, cavity backs are extremely helpful.

I’m getting these bad boys after seeing @Tron’s
Katuanas. I’m switching allegiances from Mizuno to Callaway.

here’s a good for instance…with Bob Parson’s “Troops” discount, I paid less for PXGs (albeit Gen 1) 4-P, 50, 54 and 58 with steel fibre wrapped shaft

All clubs are getting more expensive these days.

Well as the originator of the thread I just went through a full bag changeover.

PXG BOB is the man!
No only a great discount but great service for vets (and a few others)
Thanks BOB!

To be fair, I had a set of CW irons before I started listening to NLU, but I always felt like I was playing old man clubs.

If anything, NLU has made CW gear acceptably cool. I’m going to buy some new clubs this year and while I’ll go to get fitted with an open mind, I’m really looking at either Mizuno or some new CWs. I’m terribly loyal to things so I secretly want some new CW ones, but those MP18 are just so damn pretty.

I don’t think it’s simply NLU though. Across the board CW have improved their image.

A few key upgrades over the past year or so. Thinking new driver this year.
