What Clubs Do You Play

#22

dropping bombs since 2006!

#23

Driver: Cobra F8+
3W & 5W: Epic Sub-Zero
3I - PW: 2013 Callaway X-Forged
52 and 58: Vokey SM6
Putter: Odyssey Metal-X Milled 1W

Edit: Need to get a Epic Subzero from CPO because I have ocd with fairways and driver matching. Always been an all Callaway guy except for wedges. Had the XR16 before the Cobra.

#24

I have usually gravitated toward Ping because I have some odd specs that they can fit to easily, but here is my bag at the moment:

Driver: Callaway Epic
3-wood: Ping G10
Hybrid/Utility: Bridgestone J33 Airmuscle 19°
4-PW: Ping i200
Gap Wedge: Vokey 252.08
SW: Solus 56° (that sole grind is dope)
LW: Ping Glide ES 60°
Putter: Kevin Burns 9303SN

This club family thing is genius. Let me do the same for my club’s…

Driver through the bag to putter: cantankerous coniving shitball useless cunts who hate me and take every opportunity to fuck me right up the ass, and laugh about it.

That about does it.

#26

Driver: TaylorMade M3
3 wood: Taylormade M3
2 iron: TaylorMade UDI
3-PW: Mizuno MP32
Wedges: 54* & 58* Vokey SM6
Putter: Piretti Savona 2 Elite Black

The Mizunos are getting really worn, but with 2 kiddos and another on the way…that’s a tough sell to the wife. I’ll be replacing them at some point though.

#27

Driver: Callaway XR16
3W: Callaway Epic
5W: Titleist 915F
3i-PW: Hogan Apex Plus
SW: Something Hogan
Putter: Odyssey “hockey stick”

Long overdue for new irons but just can’t bring myself to make the leap.

#28

I’ve got a real hodgepodge. Mostly because I’m fresh out of college and don’t make enough to invest in the nicer stuff. All clubs stiff shafted with 1/2 inch longer shafts.
Driver - Taylormade Burner Superfast 2.0
3-wood - Callaway RAZR X
Hybrid - Taylormade 2009 Rescue (This club fuqs.)
3-9 iron - Mizuno MP68
PW: Cleveland, don’t even remember the name of the set, but I kept this one because I hit it really, really well on checkdowns around 100 yards.
SW: Titleist Vokey, 56 degree
Putter: Taylormade Spider Rossa, OG version

#29

Ping G400 driver
Callaway Rogue Subzero 3 wood
Callaway Rogue 3 hybrid

Callaway Chrome Soft X ball

#30

Taylormade M4 9.5* driver with Project X Hzrdus 75g 6.5 T1100
Taylormade M4 3HL w/ Aldila Rogue
3&4 Mizuno MP18 FliHi
5-7 Mizuno MP18 SC
8-PW Mizuno MP18
50* Vokey SM7
54* Vokey SM7
58* Vokey SM7
Black Copper Ardmore 3

#31

Driver - Cobra biocell
3W - Calloway xr
3-PW - Cobra fly-z
52 & 56 vokey
S - Callaway great big Bertha (from my first big boy set, haven’t found anything that gets me out of the sand more consistently)
Putter - 2017 Scotty Cameron Newport

#32

TM 2017 M2 10.5 with either tensei white or matrix white X5
Callaway Xhot 3w. Stock shaft
Cobra F7 3-4 hybrid
Or
TM GAPR mid 3.
Mizuno JPX 900s. 5-8 hot metal Nippon modus 3
Mizuno JPX 900s. 9-G forges Nippon modus 3
Cleveland RTX 3. 52 mid 56 high 60 low all with dynamic gold
EVNROLL ER2.

#33

Pretty happy with what’s in the bag, even though it’s a lunatic Frankenstein’s monster of a collection; it’s the fat lazy shithead swinging them who’s the problem. Anyway:

Mizuno JPZ-EZ, draw setting, loud enough to turn heads and goes long
Cleveland Classic 3W, old school, bites me in the arse more often than not
Callaway Big Bertha 5W, second favourite club
Srixon Z 4H, favourite club
Srixon Z-745 5-PW, I love these.
Cleveland RTX 588 52, 56, 60, my confidence declines as the number increases
Ping Sigma G Kinloch putter, it’s like golf summed up perfectly in one club. Occasionally brilliant and I love it more than anything, more often teases me with the promise that excellence is just out of reach.

All stiff shafts, and Bridgestone BXS ball.

#34

Driver - 2016 M2
3W - 2016 M1
Hybrid - Titleist 816
Driving Iron - UDI 2 iron
Irons - 5-PW - NCW Standard Blade, Don White grind
Wedges - Callaway MD4 - 52/56/60
Putter - Scotty Cameron Newport

#35

NCW irons worth getting? I’m between those and Mizunos

#36

I wanted very over length irons that played to standard swingweight so it was really my only option. They’re gorgeous and do exactly what I want. Probably underpriced for what you’re getting but unnecessary if you’re playing standard irons IMO. Also took over 4 months from my specs being submitted to when they were done, so keep that in mind.

#37

Interesting. Thanks for the feedback

#38

Driver: G400 MAX/Graphite Design tour ad-IZ
Fairway: Titleist TS2/ Tensei Blue
Hybrid: Titleist 818 H1/Project X Even Flow

54: Titleist SM7 S Grind
58:Titleist SM7 D Grind
Putter: Scotty Newport

#39

I would tell you to find a way to have a conversation with Patrick. Too much info, probably, because he’s a damn genius, but they are SPECTACULAR to hold and see in person. Made me think about it, too. Since I just got #TROOPS PXGs this year, wasn’t in the cards for me.

#40

I’m thinking about inquiring just to talk about the clubs haha

How are the PXG’s? Which ones do you have?

#41

Gen 1s. Ex-mil, so that’s what made it so attractive. 4-PW, 50, 54, 58 - with steel fiber wrapped S shafts
