FYI for anyone trying to calc their 9 hole handicap at Waveland I have put a little guide at the bottom of the Leaderboard tab. As a reminder your Course Handicap is not the same as your index divded by two depending on your index. Also your Course handicap and quota will change throughout the year as you get better or mostly likely worse.

Resident statistician here with a humble request. In an attempt to gather some #data for this season, I’d love to collect some hole by hole information from everyone’s rounds. There are two ways to do this:
- Fill out this google form after your round: https://forms.gle/TNrD2arraCKQJ7dM7
- Send me a picture of your scorecard after your round.
I just need Name, Score by Hole, Fairway by Hole, GIR by Hole, Putts by Hole, Quota, and Score to Quota. I promise it will only take a couple minutes and I also promise to do absolutely filthy things to Tableau or something similar to give you cutting edge information. This only works if most of us commit, so please tell me if there’s no interest and I won’t waste my time.

Great morning, really good weather considering the time of year. I was peeling layers by the end of the round. If only they’d keep the greens that speed and firmness all year.
Shoutout to Tyler and Tim for making their debuts in 36 degree temps.
Long-term forecast looks marginally better next week.

Cheers for including this calculator. We’re doing half-shots on the course handicap, right? I remember doing that last year, but want to make sure we’re all on the same page.
I vote we just round up if you’re above .5 or round down if you’re below .5
With the changing CHs and Quotas I think it will work out easier this way and lends it self to some simpler math.

my CH came out to a 5.279 so the rule hurts me, but I believe its good for the soul to have some adversity in life
