I can finally breakout the ProQuip rain pants I ordered from London back in April. Exciting times.
Tbh 60 and rainy is much better than 70s and raining. When it’s that warm it’s almost pointless to wear rain gear bc you end up sweating like a high school wrestler with a bad McDonald’s habit.

I got some work dumped on me that I need to finish before I head up to Whistling Friday, so I’d like to drop this Thursday if possible. @djheadley how do the numbers work if I’m out? I don’t wanna screw up pairings for scotch foursomes just because I have to “work”

Actually it would make the numbers go from off to even so if you have to “work” go for it! @rmbartell can sub for you and then we would have 3 teams of two for scotch foursomes.

Alright happy Tuesday and welcome to the Elite 8!
Weather is looking much better than earlier this week, but temps are projected to be in the low 50s. Welcome to Qzip weather.
First group should go off around 6:30. This week we have 3.5 groups going… so even though it’s match play for the playoffs let’s still keep to the nature of breakfast ball and play fast.
On to the groupings!
Group 1
Ballgame vs Trajmahal - (hopefully KJ wears shorts)
Pinkpanster vs Teddypargame - Very excited for this match … even with the rain the fairways have been firm so Ted is gaining some ground in the distance game
Group 2
@Wheel vs @SammyS - I am calling this the upset match as each of player had to play big last week and caused some serious upsets. We got an 11 vs 14… its what we all cheer for.
@ChiFFI vs @treeputttim - With Tim being the lone sub left to try to upset the patriarchy of the member system, he has a lot of pressure on him this match.
Now that the real matches have been figured out let’s get to fun group (aka losers groupings)! I am thinking we do scotch foursomes again since it was such a hit last time. There are 6 of us left this week and maybe we can convince the starter to just let us all go off as one group. I put our names into a random group generator and below are the teams that came out. Combine your handicap and we can play a 3 team scotch foursomes skins game for $10 a gui. Winning team splits the pots.

Tee times start around 6:30ish.
The game this week for the crew that is not in the Elite 8 is Scotch Foursomes and you will be in the 3rd and we are gonna try to just have a 6some playing alt shot in teams of two. $10 buy in for the net skins game and you are paired up with @RealChili.
Just venmo @Hoiball as you will be taking his place.
No need to go to the proshop just show up to the first tee as we basically run the place on Thursday mornings.
