After a month off, I am finally making my way back! Just in time for the last week of the regular season! With that said let’s get these grouping going for what should be a brisk early fall morning.
Sunrise is at 6:23 tomorrow with temperatures in the in the low 60s and mild winds coming from the North West.
These weeks tee times are going to be based off of seeding similar to the Tour. First out = Last place, Last out = First place. If anyone needs an early tee time let me know.

I don’t think I’ll be able to play next week so the overall leader may end up with a bye. Just doing my part to raise the stakes for the regular season finale.

So I think we have 4 alternates qualified for the post season right? I was only able to get a twosome at 6:30 for next week, so maybe it actually will work out if some folks can’t make it… I don’t know just spitballing. I was able to secure the foursome time after us for the following week (9/23). Did we ever find out the status of rain dates? Maybe there is time to have a bye week before the playoffs. Sort of build the anticipation up like how there’s no football the week before the super bowl.
If we didn’t have 16, we could push it. I say we carry on, but I’ll leave that up to the committee.
All looks like at this point in time there will only be 12 of the 16 competing in the first round.
We could always just scrap the whole thing and just play scotch foursomes/other random games the rest of the way?

Can those they miss reschedule their match for next week?
Basically if you have to miss then you are on the same side of the bracket to sort that shit out.
There was a dream that was the race to the clock tower. It shall be realized.

I think once we have the final bracket set after tomorrow we can do some BYU can’t play on Sunday seed manipulation to get it to work. Give seed bumps to people who play more - things like that. But I agree - the race should continue.
Also, I think for each match we should use current handicaps as of the day of the match to prevent any shenanigans and scummy handicap manipulations.
