FINAL FOUR WEEKS OF WBC REGULAR SEASON
Thru 13 weeks, reigning champion @Ballgame (12) sit’s atop WBC’s Race to the Clocktower leaderboard with @jheimlich3 (9) & @ChiFFI (2) holding the #2 & #3 playoff spots respectively. @treeputttim (10), @Kbergen28 (3) & @TheAbeFroman (2) all have the points to contend - question is, can they post three more quality scores with only four weeks remaining?
Contenders @Mr.Sunday & @nschumerth are making a charge up the leaderboard after posting BIG scores combining for 8 birdies over the last two weeks. Their group-mate and witness to the great 'bird-bath of 2025, @rmbartell, finally snapped his WBC leading ‘consecutive rounds without beating quota’ streak after hitting 7/9 GIRs from a season low 1/7 fairways (4/7 if we count ‘wrong’ fairways).
Last years Race to the Clocktower runner-up, @WillyK - projected to finish with 5 rds this season - continues to leave WBC wondering not only if he’ll hit 6, but what leaderboard-busting scores do those rounds hold?

As @djheadley mentioned, @Ballgame achieved the WBC Career Birdie Challenge milestone this week closing out Hole 3 with his 68th career WBC birdie - He immediately went on to make his 69th career WBC birdie on Hole 4

With only 3 weeks remaining in WBC regular season action it’s safe to say WE RACIN’
Both @AvgRandy & @Wheel logged a birdie en-route to carding their 6th WBC rounds Thursday to hit the qualifying standard. Which reminds me … I need to update the birdie list! (will get stats and birdies out tomorrow)
Probably the most notable storyline as of late is @Mr.Sunday’s hot streak. Only a few short weeks ago he was DFL with a score of -26 and now looks to fend off the field to keep the last playoff spot locked down.
He clearly didn’t need Aflac to help him ‘close that gap’ …
@nschumerth has also been charging the last 3 weeks … wait, haven’t you two played together in the same group since week 12?? May have some synergistic energy developing here. As Rafa once said about Federer: “If he’s playing better, I have to play unbelievable”
With big moves like that it’s safe to say there’s a lot of ball left to be played before crowning a champion in the 5th edition of WBCs ‘Race to the Clocktower’
