Oh, things were turbulent.
Continuing to build an all time stat:
Holes 1-4 this year: +37
Holes 5-9 this year: +7
The inability to start a round is becoming crippling.

I told you it was just a function of the early morning. I admire the grind of going straight to Diversey.
I don’t feel like I swung it terribly today but my score was quite poor. I was mostly distracted and in awe of @ChiFFI knocking down flags. B2B birdies on 3 and 4 is probably a first for this group.

Bud you did make more birdies today than I’ve made the entire season … even including non-WBC rounds. But guess that’s not saying much since I still HAVEN’T MADE ONE (I’m fine, not mad at all, everything’s fine)

No, I just have a mental block on every hole at Syd. Had birdie looks on first 4 holes and 6, 8.
I had also birdied 5 3x this year but snap hooked off tee and couldn’t save the bogey.

The bad news continues on the injury front. I’ll need subs for both June 19 and June 26. Hoping to make my return following July 4 break. Tried to play this weekend and didn’t go great. In a pretty dark place without golf.
@Mr.Sunday and @Ballgame have requested subs first, I wrote down 1, 2, 3 in the spread sheet in order for subs to fill.

… not sure it’s possible to make it worse.
They blew it up and are re-doing the tee box so now #9 is a 335 yard par 4… right after a 310 yard par 4.
Pray for pace of play after 7am there with two “drivable” par 4s back to back at the end of the round

Long term plan is to rebuild the original tee box and 335 is just temporary, though, yeah?
Yeah it looks that way. Probably just leveling the whole thing and potentially moving it a bit easy bc they are also digging up the cart path next to it.

Yes. They mowed on a slight downslope and dropped markers for now.
With the shorter hole ready to feast on, my perfect scorecard died on 9 with my 2 worst swings of the day as I found the woods, air mailed the recovery. I shockingly had 8 straight pars.
