@Randy our dog also has had anal gland issues. We started adding a scoop of pumpkin to her meals and it basically solved itself. She’ll still express every now and then but it made it much more infrequent. A potentially cheap and easy solution for Arthur.

Had similar issues with our old dog. We had them get expressed every month at the vet. Sucked to pay each month, but a hell of a lot better than me having to do it myself.

I was dismayed that @tron and @Randy are getting angry emails from “Nancy” from Prince Edward Island. As a native of PEI, this is upsetting. What’s her issue?
Actually what was most impressive is they talked about Kelly Clarkson and the owner of the store (guy wrote Dragons Love Tacos) without mentioning that story at all. I’m guessing it’s because they recorded before it took off, and they’ll cover it next week, but it was hilarious.

I lived a few blocks from Art of Play for five years before moving to another part of the city last year. The owners are really nice people. The Kelly Clarkson story is outrageous.
Yup. I’m aware. I didn’t hear them talk about the controversy at all. They just mentioned Dragons Love Tacos and how Kelly Clarkson is a fan of AI music (as long as it’s on a separate chart) independently.

I’m gonna zig on this one. My sister gifted it to us when we did a book gift baby shower for my firstborn. On the list of books my wife and I have hid because we hate reading it. It’s so stupid.
Eventually every book is on that list. But the good ones get there due to sheer overuse. Dragons Love Tacos was hidden within the first 5 readings. Simply couldn’t do it anymore.

It so funny to think about, because the books are really for the enjoyment of your kids, but man there are some books that when my toddler picks them out, I’m like “god I hate this so much”. For me it’s The Last Black Unicorn by Tiffany Haddish and then some Mickey Mouse book with the sound effect buttons.
