Huge shout out to @Randy for already accomplishing the rollerblading goal within the first week of January! Hugely impressive to stack those W’s so early in the new year!

When I heard him talk about this on the Goals Pod, this is the first thing that came to mind with the Big Man on blades:

a man in a checkered shirt and shorts is riding a skateboard on a street .

Next time @Randy is back in Cincy, he’s taking on any and all challengers in a race down DEVIL’S BACKBONE.

Fantastic. As a kid I was irrationally upset that the road to the airport somehow ended at Riverfront but they were never actually on Devils Backbone. Real Cincinnati 90s kid issues.

Was listening to the Rewatchables “High Fidelity” episode recently and they were talking about it being Jack Black’s big coming out party.

The Augie erasure was insulting.

I did not anticipate a Susto shoutout on the Trapdraw! My all-time favorite band, seen them live 14 times! Glad to know the Big Guy has great taste!

@Tron The Ken Burns Vietnam War documentary is incredible. It weirdly lends itself to repeat viewing. I’ve watched it at least a dozen times in the seven or eight years since it released.

It takes such a fascinating time in our history and distills it so perfectly.

It is brilliant.

Now I’m not up to date on the most recent pod, however I received a Birdbuddy for Christmas from my In laws. It is both sick, and needs to be addressed on the pod. It’s a solar powered trail cam built into a bird feeder. The best part is that it connects to your WiFi and notifies you of birds landing on the feeder via their app. Better yet, the app identifies what species the bird is. Unreal.

I work for a fortune 500 company, and the whole company Outlook issue is far too relateable, and certainly happens every year or so. Last year someone copied our whole company directory on an email chain, so then the next 300 or so emails you recieved were people replying all asking to be removed from the chain, and the next 300 or so were people again replying to all, telling the first 300 to quit replying to all. It was pretty comical, but yeah it crashes Outlook pretty quick.

I work for a Fortune 500 company also, and we used to be able to send internal voice memos to voicemail. About 15 yrs ago some poor schmuck tried to send a voice memo to his in office relationship, and inadvertently sent it to the whole company. You can imagine the dialogue, and our phone system was changed quickly thereafter.

@Tron @Soly Was amused to hear you will be joining me in the DR this week. This is my 4th (or possibly 5th) trip with a group of guys who have been going on a golf trip there for 20+ years. I am assuming you will be around Punta Cana but if you head west, I would strongly suggest you check out La Estancia https://laestanciagcc.com/. There is a 300 foot gorge that runs through the middle of the course. Some absolutely wild holes. Conditions are sometimes good, sometimes bad.

This year we are playing Oceans 4 Official Website - PGA Ocean's 4
I have not played it but guys tell me it is fun. One of the guys is a member at Guavaberry in Juan Dolio so we will play a couple rounds there.

Pronouncing Falmouth as “Fall-mouth” was a tough scene Tron
