Our local go-to Mexican restaurant is a former Pizza Hut.
Our local Pizza Hut is a former check into cash location.
Or local check into cash place is a former captain Ds / Long John Silvers
All on the same corridor. Bizarre. Feels like some form of reincarnation, where each comes back as something better.

âThis was a Pizza Hut
Now, itâs all covered with daisies
Youâve got it, youâve got itâ

The one I feel like I see often that always makes me giggle is an old Wendyâs with the rounded windows and curtain exterior thing being some form of medical/dental office.

Huge real estate reincarnation jump to go from Wendyâs to Dental Office! That old Wendyâs must have had only the freshest salad bar, and consistently operating frosty machine to deserve a dental second life.

Is it just me or was the wood in old Pizza Hut locations always very damp? Like a wooden bench in Florida at 7:00am in July

I just drove from Denver to Houston, going through many, many small towns in New Mexico and Texas, and I always enjoy seeing the distinctive, old Pizza Hut buildings, most of which are something else now.
