Trap Draw : Airports 4.1 now out

Accurate but people choose what they consume. But yea I agree HFCS is going to be the death of this world.

Yes and no, do you also need to work every hour of the day to feed your family? Is the sugary food cheep calories, and you’ve been trained to crave them? Does our government allow white bleached sugar nutrition-less bread on the shelves? What about advertising sugar rice for breakfast every morning to children?

Does the healthcare industry make more by of making drugs to treat symptoms of obesity or loosing weight?

The government doesn’t help health issues and sometimes is a net negative.

I’m 5’10" and got up to 228. I hover around 165 now. I have been on both sides of this discussion. Everyone has a choice. Personal responsibility is a thing. I agree with you we shouldn’t subsidize the shit but we shouldn’t be banning anything on the other end. I’d be happy to continue this in Post anything or politics. Not sure it makes sense here. I agree with your overall thoughts but maybe not the resolution. Cheers

Holy crap my man, congratulations losing those lbs! 63lbs is damn near a Backstreet Boy. I’ve got an inch on you and am hovering at 215. I 1000% know what the problem is and what to do just to get under 200, but I love what I love. Wedding in November '24 will really test me.

I’m sorry, I don’t disagree. It’s a particular frustration of mine. That it’s all choices. It’s also the choices you don’t know your making.

get yourself a walking boot, something they would use to stabilize a severe angle sprain, put it on in the parking garage, priority boarding, all set

Nothing to add other than The Big Show is on my flight, in first class, still looking miserable because the plane isn’t built for humans his size

If you are too fat or too old to be able to walk on or off an airplane maybe don’t fly and stay home! (Travelled to and from orlando this month - the wheelchair capital of the world)

Why anyone would want to get on the plane first is beyond me.

Yes, I think the better approach is to have a beer at the bar across the way and chuckle at all he nerds lining up to get on the plane first.

Unless it’s Southwest, I’d much rather be like POTUS on AF1 - board and say “ok let’s go”.

Overhead storage. I almost never check a bag and don’t trust gate checks at all.

Also being old is not a disability. You were born a long time ago. You werent in an accident.

But we fetishize the old. You can be the biggest dickhead or douchebag in the world, but hey, if you are old, “give them a break, they are old.”

It’s definitely not this simple for some people. I’m really glad that it was for you and that you have gotten healthy!! That’s really incredible.

But for some people, whole foods are too expensive or actually unavailable (food deserts).

For others, eating disorders and the stigma against treatment/lack of available treatment/lack of insurance coverage for mental health services make food an unbearable struggle (eating disorders are one of the leading causes of death amongst young people).

And for yet others, our bodies are literally designed to crave sugar, refined carbs, etc. Thanks evolution…

I definitely agree that people need to take ownership to help themselves, but to simply say “make better choices” and not provide any assistance is a gross over simplification that is actively harming tons of people.

And as always, if anyone has any issues with disordered eating, feel free to reach out. Men (specifically) need more visibility and support with eating disorders :fist:

That is wild!

The AirTags / Tiles have to be the bane of these airlines now that they are getting caught — easily — in their lies about “lost” luggage. No wonder Lufthansa tried to ban them.
