He should come to film club.
On my first day of school in Sweden I was introduced to a guy named Nick. He had the strongest Kiwi accent, black hair and dry dark brown/black eyes (like many New Zealanders have). He talked to me about rugby etc. I then asked him how long heâd been away from home. He looked at me funny and pointed to a street a short way from school and said âMy home is over there.â. Heâd been on student exchange in New Zealand for a year.
What a find.
@Soly or any Chicagoan with Swedish experience - is Bitter Drops similar to Malört?
Same World Series Championship roster included, âole Piss Handsâ, himself Moises Alou!
Glorious. Not much to add that hasnât been said.
âYou fuckinâ Dildoâ a particular highlight. Will likely re-watch some of the golf aspects to get more up to speed on this seasonâs competition
Something feels wrong about using rangefinders while playing hickories.
Was that the first eagle weâve seen from @Soly where we didnât get the dance afterward?
The strapped boy lost b-roll duty but that meant the budget increased big time.
As @ComfyDouble brought up and now I canât unsee, the hold in left hand but look through right eye for marketing purposes haha
That episode was freaking awesome.
The former golf coach mustâve had some connections to Sweden because there were a few Swedes on the team every year I was there.
Looking forward to the Week 30 episode, because on the Pod, there is deep innuendo that @Randy hooks up, perhaps multiple times.
May be overdramatic here, but I genuinely think that is best piece of golf content that has been produced before, NLU or otherwise. I am really struggling to think of another product that comes close to this level of production value. Fantastic job, fellas.
Side note, how has Golf Channel, NBC, ESPN, etc. not created a travel golf series yet? There is a massive market for this sort of content, and it is wild no major player has thought to even give it a real shot. At least we have 15 hours of daily content where some washed up pro helps me pronate my flexor or some other bullshit.
There is too much pressure from sponsors and resorts. Golf Channel tried, but it just became glorified advertisement puff pieces.
That and the big names havenât realized yet that there is a thirst in the golf world for seeing places that arenât the top 50 in the world.
Different type of content, but the only two videos I have enjoyed more than this opener were the Randy biopic in Michigan and the Strapped at World Tour.
The emphasis on the people and the embrace of the cultural proclivities are what continue to make Tourist Sauce the best.
Youâd be surprised. Phil Rosenthal of Somebody Feed Phil said in a recent episode that when he pitched his show to both the Travel Channel and Food Network that both of them said, âNo one is really interested in travel content anymoreâ.
