Tourist Sauce Season 3: LA to San Francisco

Remember when you guys asked me at the thirsty cup what my handicap was and I said 6.7 and got laughed out of the room? Now we’re toiling over 1.9 vs 2.1 vs. 2.9. Good times. Good times.

I commented on Youtube, but I have to pile it on. You have to give us a golf course in each episode, especially the season opener! Episode one was too much of a long teaser for the rest of the trip. My only criticism of the crown jewel of golf YT content. Long live tourist sauce.

If you haven’t figured it out yet, we are doing an episode per day of the trip. And we did not play golf on day one.

And releasing one episode per week every Tuesday?

I understand, but I’d suggest making the first ep 2 days then. I’ma hang up and listen.

So you would have preferred more Gankas stuff got left on the cutting room floor, and a bloated opening episode that doesn’t match the rest of the season? All in favor of that approach say aye!

FWIW a 40 minute episode wouldn’t bother me any.

Exactly, I’m saying go bigger in the first episode if needed. None of the content should’ve been cut, but a Tourist sauce ep without a round of golf doesn’t feel like a Tourist sauce ep.

I would say that is what made Episode 1 a compelling opener. There is more to golf (and a golf trip/experience) than just rounds of golf, quite often. I may be mistaken but I think the guys played a few less rounds this time around so the extending the season with extra episodes makes sense to me.

You can never have too much Gankas.

I realize that it’s probably not in @Randy 's best interests emotionally for us to see every swing of that lessons, but god damn do I want to.

Gotta admire the hustle if not the hubris. A 3hr old account already giving suggestions on how to make TS “better”.

Rustic Canyon is one of my favorite golf courses in the world, and yet I found something wanting in episode two. Strangely, I think it was that I missed all the “off course” stuff from ep1–really all we got of that in this episode was the pre-round handicap discussion in the cafe.

The stuff about Rustic was great but I did find myself wondering If they had a twilight tee time and they started their day at Westlake, which is very close to RC, then what did they do with the whole morning?
