I love the balance. I think I’m about tapped out on the quartz side of things (maybe one more), and it’s time to get a couple automatic pieces.
Beware people, polls may be coming.

I think something from Speidel might be my next watch. I just like the way most of these look and they aren’t crazy expensive.
This one is somewhat tempting with the sale.
As is this one.
I’ve been following this thread for a while but haven’t posted yet. I’m ashamed to admit that I am a bad watch owner, and since COVID/WFH hit I’ve probably slipped to only putting a watch on once or twice a week, despite my collection looking like this:
The Sinn was my first watch that I bought after graduating college and getting hired into my job. I wore it daily for a couple years and thought it would be something I kept forever, but overtime my taste changed and I found it to be too big for me. It’s still my most versatile watch and I appreciate the more subtle look and harsh lines. Still one of the better bracelets that exists on the market.
The Longines was purchased for my wedding and is my dress watch. I plan to replace the bracelet with the black Longines alligator strap eventually, but I only wear this thing a few times a year and just haven’t gotten around to it. As a dress watch I love it, the dial is beautiful and I appreciate the moonphase complication, but I don’t like polished cases and bracelets for daily wear - way too flashy for me.
The mint Traska Commuter is my third watch in a line of cheaper “fun” pieces after I went through a Blue Alpinist (that I regret selling every day) and a white Seikonaut (SNKK55). This thing is what made me realize smaller watches are more my speed, but the color makes it impossible as a daily driver.
I promise all this bitching has a point: I really wanna flip my bonus + Sinn + Traska for a better, and nicer daily wear. But Refuge, I don’t know if can justify it for two reasons:
I think in the near future I’ll try to get these on the wrist to make a more informed decision. I’m open to other suggestions and questions about my current or former watches!
Ah fuck man you might have just cost me a few grand
Or just order the black bay 36/39 5 link separately and put it on the bb54.
Can we talk about what’s going on behind that Sinn? Not sure having those steaks leaning against each other is helping.
It looks weird, but they weren’t leaning on each other. The one on the left is behind the center one.
FWIW, I thoroughly enjoy my BB54. Perfect size for a daily for someone that also likes smaller watches. And I love Uncle Seiko bracelets (have a number of them for my Speedy) but don’t sleep on the Tudor bracelet. The micro adjustment feature is fantastic and in daily wear the rivets are barely noticeable.
If you get the clasp-less executive bracelet, you can actually us the T-Fit clasp with the Uncle Straps bracelet if you want! Very cool feature IMO
Are you sure this only applies to the executive? Looking at the senator, it seems like there’s also an option to use the Tudor clasp.
I don’t have personal experience with these, so definitely go with the website over whatever I say haha
The fluted and jubilee combo is gorgeous
Personally it’s the only way to buy a datejust
I was inspired by Scotty Cameron and bought this bad boy years ago before I knew anything about watches.

About 5 minutes after I bought it, I realized it wasn’t even the same watch he was pictured with, just kinda similar. I now have a decent collection, but for some reason I have a soft spot for this thing.
just saw him rocking an aquanaut… It might be a sign to add to the collection
