Joe Scally was fine and is never going to be Dest going forward. He’s a more defensive RB. And for all the forays forward Robinsion has they very rarely come to anything. He’s a freak athlete but is terrible with the ball in tight spaces. To be fair Pepi robbed him of at least an assist but Bolivia is also atrocious and are the worst team in this tournament.
The main problem was actually the several terrible giveaways by Chris Richards. I don’t know what it is but he just doesn’t seem as confident playing for the US. Passing it straight to Uruguay and potentially even Panama is not going to go well. I’m actually a little worried about Panama, Thomas Christiansen has had them playing really well for their relative lack of talent playing in Europe for a couple years now. They have some solid technical players and can do some damage.
