The Refuge Feedback Thread

I don’t see it either, will look to see if it’s a Discourse bug. I do know that I get a notification when someone replies to me. Are you still getting that?

Showing reply in edit box but not on my post

Same here.

it looks like the reply on shows if youre not replying to the person directly above you

I think it does not show the avatar if you are replying to the post directly above you. It does show if you are replying to a previous post.

If you reply to post directly above yours, it doesn’t show. If there are posts between, it does.

This is a theory anyway. I believe it to be correct.

EDIT: Damn, I really need to keep reading threads before I post.

So it appears to be working

Yep. It was working all along. I just failed to understand that it only references the specific reply, if it’s not the post directly above it. Which, when I think about it, makes sense.

It doesn’t show if you’re replying to the directly previous post, but it does otherwise.

Am I doing this right??

Seriously though - you can verify by expanding the “N replies” at the bottom left of a post. Shows you who actually replied to a post, including the one directly below if applicable (which won’t have avatar)

Oh man, I don’t want to bring anyone down here because I’m sure some dudes like it, but the roost logo accompanying the avatar suuuuuucccckkkkkkkssssss.

Put your piece of flair on and like it.

The flair icon should be rounded instead of square.

It’s a bit busy, ain’t it?

The issue is the file type that was uploaded. You would most likely want a .PNG with transparent background unless you truly have a square logo.

.PNG vs same file saved as .jpg - didn’t add background, just default for the file type

I still think it suckers but, yes, that looks much better.

TIL a functional difference between PNG and JPG.
