Haha I figured you wouldn’t. I went to the game last year. Gotta say, I wasn’t feeling great until the fourth quarter.
Been years since I last played a Cobblestone but I remember loving that track. Would be open to playing if there is opportunity on Sunday maybe?
Guests have to play with a member. Could have 3 guests in a group.

Yeah this is my understanding as well. I was hoping to bring an unaccompanied group out as I don’t know any members.

During normal times, Palmetto only allows unaccompanied guests if a member has called them in or, during Masters week.
Makes sense. I was also told they allow guest play through the Green Boundary Club, which is the route I was looking to go.
My report on Mount Vintage. Course is in good condition. Greens are quite fast and if you are on the wrong side of the hole, it’s hard to stop them downhill. There is a par 5 on one of the 9s (vintage) that is closed so you just write a par and move on. $50 to ride 18 on the weekends and that includes a 6 pack of domestic beer for every player. Definitely good deal.

River club was in good shape, a few funky holes but a fun track to play. Aiken GC was awesome, just as everyone says. So much fun to play, rough around the edges in just the right ways. Palmetto was spectacular, phenomenal shape. Greens are so hard, and so fun.

Just booked Friday night room. Planning on taking Friday off and driving over with my wife, she’s got a remote breast cancer walk commitment so she’s planning on walking around Aiken and exploring on Saturday while I’m playing golf. I have to head back to ATL for another commitment on Sunday, so I’ll be driving home late Saturday night.
I’ve only played Aiken Golf Club once and I’m excited about this. I’ve updated my info on the sign in sheet, including my dropping handicap index.

Heck yes! When I first got on the alt list, I was like 13th and thought “no way this will happen”. I think I need to thank CFB for rocketing me up. I’m looking forward to it!
