Also Forest Hills is incredible, the whole facility is amazing - I walked 18 holes and had lunch for $48 yesterday. I wasnāt expecting much and I wasnāt too excited for more golf Sunday morning but that changed really quickly after we pulled up.
Aiken area is unbelievable and I canāt wait to come back, thanks again @LukeBoatright

I hope some of you frequented Mellow Mushroom, the finest dining establishment in all of Aiken?! @Swing_hard_and_hope was kind enough to send me a photo from outside, but I need to know that they are still delivering top quality/the only vegan pizza in the area.

Iād be remiss if I didnāt post a bit more about the experience.
Morning Round:
Getting to meet @OTPLefty in person after a couple of years in Zooms was a highlight of the day. Quick with the needle but a joy to be around. Definitely recommend playing with him if you have a chance. Iāll find my way up to Indiana to get kicked around Pfau.
Had meet but not played with @pe2 and once Luke joined OTP in the cart, he and I had plenty of chances to talk as the remaining walkers. Fun day as we discusses courses and CFB. Glad both our Tigers could get a win on the day.
Afternoon Round:
Refugeless Corey was my partner and we had a great time.
@RPruitt indulged my baseball questions and we debated the merits of Greenville and Charlotte. Was a pleasure to tee it up with another one of the Charlotte guys.
@mintbucket was our fourth and I was delighted to meet the legend behind the traveling mint bucket. We sampled and it tastes great! Just pace yourselves. Pleasure to meet you sir!
Saturday Night:
Understandably this part is hazier. Had a good crew for the night and even got some Film Club hangs in with @tuck_mulligan @tdaly @CrucialTaunt @Swing_hard_and_hope and some others (tag limits).
Also getting to discuss GCA and other things with @tombudsman is always fun. For a guy Iāve met twice, I couldnāt enjoy it more.
Even met @westerj12 and we didnāt get into an argument about CFB that was uncivil. Not to mention the guy makes a HIO after getting after it in DT Aiken.
If I missed someone, Iām truly sorry, but know I didnāt truly forget the experience, probably just your handles on here.
The Refuge is a truly weird, strange place, but it has brought unforeseen enjoyment to a game I already dearly loved.

Wanted to jump in and provide my thanks and praises to @LukeBoatright, @Paden and the crew for a fantastic weekend. This was my first weekender with the group and canāt wait for the next round.
Had the pleasure of starting the weekend out with @jan42dk and @GeneralQuinn at FH. I hope we all figured out the greens by Sunday afternoon.
Friday night blackout putting with @dclthomas and @bwolve had me ready to 4-putt several greens on Saturday.

Speaking of which, @4PuttLegend, your laugh is fucking infectious. You are a true delight. Highlight of the morning was the barrage that we laid on 10 tee (from hole 9; shoutout @CrucialTaunt @ColoniusFunk) #foreright
@Jmay425 and @nanerman (RIP) brought an incredible soundtrack to the afternoon round and absolutely waxed @Iennis0121 and the Barnacle, but we were able to avoid the Ames situation on the back nine alt-shot.
Sundayās round with @dclthomas, @kerry, and @Paden āAngel Handsā Martin was the perfect way to round out the trip. Plenty of good shots and bad shots to remember all weekend (whiskey and otherwise). Cheers to the next one.
