Beautiful day yesterday. Lost all three Nassaus to @PinkPantser and @dflock24 and had a great time. Wedges are a disaster. New putter is 
. Started and finished with some classy pars.
I’m a root beer guy. Randomly had a Sprecher’s with lunch today, actually. Root beer floats were a favorite of my dad’s, so it was usually root beer.

Possibly controversial take - I just don’t care for cold deli roast beef anywhere. Grocery, chain sub shops, doesn’t really matter. Now if I’m at a proper greasy spoon and they’ve got a French dip or Chicago hot beef… Fuck me up. But miss me with all “standard” deli roast beef. This take brought to you by a Midwesterner who has decidedly few great delicatessens near him.

Cold cut roast beef just doesn’t hold flavor like it used to. I’ve had this discussion with many people and all have agreed. Even a high-end cold cut is just bland and never worth the cost anymore
Gotta figure it’s cost-cutting the length of time it takes to prepare.

God I’ve felt this. Every time I see people decry roast beef I want to step up and defend it. But… it’s all nostalgia at this point. It was my favorite cold cut growing up. These days it’s just dry and flavorless, even from something like boars head.
I’ll take this roast beef take even farther.
Warm sandwiches are better than cold sandwiches at least 99 times out of 100.
