Went to the range yesterday to:
- shake the rust off
- avoid my FIL
- work on a swing feel
Dubs across the board.
Now can’t get it out of my head and would very much like to play golf and/or at least go to the range again.

I have never made an eagle on my own ball.
I have had multiple chances on hole one at Cumberland but have yet to convert. A short par 5… I have been playing the hole safe for the last 2 years but I am trying to visualize success. I can do it. I know I can. I have to believe.

With the green being at a harsh slant, it is essentially automatic bogey if not double bogey if you go long, so I chicken out a lot.

Had an eagle putt yesterday after floating a 7 wood beautifully against the breeze. I of course tapped in for par and yelled loudly walking off the green

In your defense, the hole doesn’t play short. Gotta take it over the corner a bit to stay in the fairway and avoid the pond which is actually pretty strategically placed. Then it’s a mid-long iron uphill to reach a small green with trouble on all sides except short.

The sun came out today for the first time in 2 weeks, the snow is gone and it’s supposed to be almost 50 later this week. Hoping I can sneak out at least twice this week.
