The Op3-'n:10k or bust (Part 1)

Just took a quick look at rack rates at Heidel House for the new July dates. Looks like July jumps $100/night more. $350-380 range per night. I loved Heidel House but not sure if we can negotiate a comparable price to this year’s. If not, there appears to be a handful of Airbnb options that look doable.

Think that was about the same price that would have been rack last year when @mikedabomb got the block rate.

For a group like ours, they are generally able to make some things happen. Weekend after the 4th isn’t quite as insane for them either, so we may get some wiggle there as well.

Maybe FootJoy can set up those tents like Neil had in Hoylake…

I think I just have to buy a Subaru. Road trip from AZ to WI? Sure.

I believe they have been willing to negotiate rates when a big enough block of rooms is at stake. Most places start that kind of thing at 10 rooms.

Caesar’s?

I’ll email our contact there this week and see what kind of block rate we can get.

Now the attempt at convincing the SO that doing this and then Bandon two weeks later is totally good for my health

Ah. I don’t spend much time down on that south end of the strip.

I need to get back to Vegas

Are you a Palazzo / Wynn kind of Vegas guy?

Park MGM is the sweet spot for me.

Park MGM is the south side of the strip to me. Although, I suppose it’s more central now. The center of the strip used to be Flamingo/Caesar’s.

Yeah I think of it more central now too. I rarely end up on that north end at all. Tend to stay at Park then hang there or at Cosmo/Aria.

Stokes that Cosmo is under MGM now.
