I had a dream last night wherein I crashed 3 boats at our local marina by accelerating instead of decelerating when I approached the dock, hit the breakwall, and launched into the air landing on the roof of a storage building while patrons at the bar watched in horror. 3 times with 3 different boats. The dream then pivoted to me removing the snow tires from my car with my brother’s help because I wanted to run performance tires in the winter. We promptly slid off my driveway and down the dune next to my house, whereupon my dog ran away and I woke myself up yelling her name in an attempt to call her back.
No drugs or alcohol were involved.

When I had the flu in early November, some of the fever dreams were absolutely insane. Woke up 3 times yelling either my wife’s, dog’s, or best friend’s name. Don’t remember what got me to that point, but my wife was certainly concerned for me.

I think she was only concerned because my fever spiked to like 102 at one point and I stubbornly refused to go to urgent care. So me yelling her name at like 1:50 from the guest bedroom had her on high alert.
She now makes fun of me for it.
