Puerto Rico being 33 is the most shocking part of the list.
How about DC being number 6? How many golfers live in DC proper and not VA/MD? Who are these golf mad quality golfers living in DC proper?
I figure that the breeding ground of unadulterated nepotism is probably a decent place to find a good golfer. I wasn’t ready for the Puerto Rico Open to be such an inspiration to the fine people there.
I went to Ole Miss. If this list is as I understand it just the average HCP’s of the players that register one in the state. Mississippi is #1 because the only people that keep a handicap are competitive golfers. The average player doesn’t know what a HCP is there. I tried gambling against buddies off caps my senior year and they had no clue what I was talking about.
Wolski’s Tavern. Favorite spot in the city.
Many of the tour pros I know don’t keep an official handicap, so you factor in the fact that the 257392947749382626749492761634 retirees who shoot 120 are in the state do, you’re going to get a higher number.
And then get alcohol policies changed at Sand Valley because of their behavior
Just wait till the Ope raffle prizes this year…
Surprise IA is not top 10. Probably most sticks per capita.
Indiana, though…
Sounds like a working man’s par
Found live video of @papateeps
I was watching that match when it happened. The entire pool community lost their minds. Hitting one of those shots in a single match is pretty fucking good. Hitting all 3 IN ONE RACK is mind-blowing stuff.
Yeah but take your family out of the equation and that per capita number dropa dramatically
I’m just catching up but I feel like this could be a good conversation starter for tomorrow
Is it:
- Chunk change
- Chump change
Nope, Mississippi is also #1 for child poverty.
Hate to see that for you there bud
Less of a conversation starter like @lazyjk was hoping for, and more of a pile on at this point.
