Also v glad my phone has started auto-filling Tarandowah because I’m bad a speling.

My thinking on the Ryder Cup element is to keep it to the 36 hole day. Some other event for the Friday in case some can’t make it that day. Can do 4 9 hole matches.

Are we thinking of doing two big teams and playing different formats within? Doing the full foursomes, fourball, singles would be fun.

I’d love to do two teams with one round of foursomes, one of four ball, and one of singles.
But I’d also be open to be either ideas. Maybe a 54 hole tournament with prizes for low gross, low net, and top quota.
Also open to any and all other suggestions! Anything to maximize fun.

I think that given the uncertainty we will continue to face in 2021 that the NIT should be a secondary consideration at best.

I’d lean towards fourball / foursomes / singles - with the timeframe on the event, I would hope most players can make the Friday PM round happen?
I see two teams divided up with a roughly even split of handicaps. Pair 1 high / 1 low cap for the fourball, switch teams / pairings for foursomes then head to head for the singles.
Strokes on the fourball, then foursomes is straight up. Aim to match players by ‘cap for the singles and play them straight up too, unless we have any truly brutal matchups.

Also, I would aim to do alt-shot Saturday morning before singles, so that 36 hole day isn’t a total slog for anyone not used to playing that much back to back!

It was a loooooong drive back from Windsor in the snow. Just made it home safely to about 20 alerts on this thread… I had takes ready to fly!
After that round yesterday, I’m even more jazzed to be involved in this thing. Also, snow sucks. Also ALSO, Roseland is off the charts good.
